Our Story
Welcome to Stimulus Africa!
Stimulus Africa Foundation (SAF) is a social enterprise founded in 2011 in Harare, Zimbabwe to foster entrepreneurial ecosystems for micro, small & medium-sized enterprises (MSME’s) through capacity building (incubation and acceleration programmes), network building, market access, mentorship, coaching and knowledge exchange with a focus on excluded communities and groups.

At our core, we are dedicated to economically empowering young people and women through innovative and creative programmes that infuse coaching and mentorship into all engagements.
We believe that entrepreneurial ecosystems that are human-centred and co-created, underpinned by user-experience research will drive economic growth in Africa and directly benefit the individuals equipped to participate.

Rudo with over 15 years of combined legal and business experience, is a seasoned expert in enterprise development and she has a strong research focus in her work for the foundation.
Rudo’s role at Stimulus Africa Foundation is focused on building the organisation’s profile & extending its impact through her role that is focused on partnerships, stakeholder engagement, resource mobilisation and promotion.

McCloud, with over ten years of experience, as a seasoned professional in Project Management and Information Systems Management, specialising in project and program delivery across various sectors in both the private sector and development sector.
McCloud’s role at Stimulus Africa Foundation is focused on project delivery as he leads the organisation’s programme design and project implementation.
